IEA Participant Registration.

ACDCForYou is delighted to offer a creative arts employment / internship pathway that stands alone in the sector, designed specifically for neurodiverse individuals with a genuine creative passion who are both IEA program participants and active NDIS participants.  Our Digital Design and Marketing Internship combines paid employment, specialist coaching, and a comprehensive foundation in administration skills within a unique, supportive environment.

We specialise in directly employing interns for long-term success in digital design, visual arts, music, illustration, and media projects. ACDCForYou manages all business development, employment, onboarding, and ongoing support, making the process seamless for IEA providers.

We deliver our programs in all states and territories (Metro, Regional, Remote & Rural) via an inclusive virtual platform for participants, however, in Metropolitan Melbourne we deliver our programs from our Footscray Office.

IEA Providers with multiple participants in any state or territory are encouraged to access their meeting rooms for our coaches to deliver programs virtually, streamed into the providers office.

ACDCForYou is committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace culture where neurodiverse individuals are valued, supported, and empowered to reach their full creative potential. Every aspect of our program is designed to celebrate differences, encourage open communication, and build environments where creativity and innovation can flourish. By prioritising respect, understanding, and accessibility, ACDCForYou ensures that every participant, regardless of background or ability, has the opportunity to succeed.

Our Step-By-Step Pathway

Step 1: Referral Submission

IEA provider submits the completed referral form for an eligible participant - who must be both an active IEA participant and NDIS participant to;

nataliemclean@acdc4u.com.au & janice.l@acdc4u.com.au

Step 2: Funding Discussion

ACDCForYou contacts the participant’s NDIS support team to:

  • Discuss the suite of employment programs available

  • Gauge and confirm what NDIS funding is available for pre-employment and internship support

Step 3: Funding Confirmation or Review

  • If the NDIS support team confirms available funding, ACDCForYou proceeds with program registration and immediately informs the IEA provider of the successful outcome.

  • If no funding is available, ACDCForYou provides a supporting letter for a NDIS plan review, to be submitted by the NDIS support team. The participant’s referral is placed on hold, and the IEA provider is notified until funding is approved.

Step 4: Pre-Employment Program

Once funding is secured, the participant begins the comprehensive 13-week, NDIS-funded pre-employment program delivered by ACDCForYou.
The pre-employment program delivers a comprehensive suite of interactive modules tailored for neurodiverse creative NDIS participants, each designed to build foundational workplace and personal strengths crucial for success in creative careers. Participants engage with targeted learning in Disability Awareness & Inclusion, Supporting Effective Communication, Autism Awareness and Inclusive Practices, and Introduction to ADHD Awareness, equipping them with vital understanding of inclusive workplaces and neurodiversity.

The focus is on skill-building, positive mindset, resilience, and workplace readiness within a creative context.

Step 5: Paid Creative Internship

After successful pre-employment completion:

  • The participant is anchored into a 12-month, paid Digital Design & Marketing Internship, employed directly by ACDCForYou.

  • Interns receive $26.30 per hour (SCHADS Award Level 1, Pay Point 1), plus superannuation and accrued leave entitlements.

  • The experience includes hands-on creative projects, individualised coaching, and ongoing workplace mentoring.

  • Mandatory: Each intern must be concurrently enrolled in a Certificate I, II, or III in Administration (or similar administration qualification), coordinated by the IEA provider and fully supported by ACDCForYou coaches to ensure development of essential workplace and administration skills alongside creative growth.

Please note we do not support any other certificate courses for our digital design and marketing programs
